Our work

Practical health support, explained clearly.

We organise our work around four connected areas so communities, volunteers and partners can quickly understand what Everwell does.

The four pillars

Different needs. One connected approach.

Our projects do not always look the same, because communities do not always need the same thing. These four pillars help us stay focused without becoming rigid.

01

Community Health & Prevention

Helping people prevent problems, recognise risk and act earlier.

This can include health education, point-of-care screening, malaria and hepatitis activities, non-communicable disease awareness, medicine-use education and practical preventive support.

In simple terms: we help people understand health risks and, where a project allows, access basic preventive services closer to home.

02

Women, Children & Young People

Making health information easier to reach at important stages of life.

Documented activities have included reproductive-health education, menstrual-health support, child and family health, health literacy and youth engagement.

In simple terms: we create space for practical questions about health and connect education with support people can actually use.

03

Community Mobilisation & Health Advocacy

Good programmes work better when trusted people are involved from the beginning.

Everwell works through community leaders, volunteers, local health personnel and institutions to support mobilisation, health communication and community participation. Our documented advocacy is primarily community-facing; we do not claim policy or government-budget changes that we have not achieved.

In simple terms: we help communities hear about, trust and take part in useful health activities.

04

Referral, Follow-up & Health Linkage

An outreach should not leave people wondering what comes next.

Where documented and feasible, our projects include counselling, referral guidance, vaccination follow-up and linkage with appropriate local health services.

In simple terms: if someone needs more than the outreach can provide, we try to help point them toward the right next step.

Our delivery model

What happens before, during and after a project.

  1. 01

    Community entry

Engage local leaders, residents and health personnel to understand context and practical needs.

  2. 02

    Plan & mobilise

Define the activity, gather resources, assign volunteer roles and communicate with the community.

  3. 03

    Deliver

Combine education with practical services appropriate to the project.

  4. 04

    Refer & follow up

Support counselling, referral or follow-up where the project and available services allow.

  5. 05

    Document & learn

Record participation, services, feedback, expenditure, lessons and next steps.
