Gangare Community Wellness Outreach
A community wellness project built around prevention, health information and practical support.
Project in plain language
A focused community-health outreach responding to information gaps and everyday preventive-health needs.
The need
Why the project happened.
The project addressed limited access to reliable health information and basic preventive care, poor health-seeking behaviour, self-medication, WASH needs, medicine-use concerns and reproductive-health information gaps.
What Everwell did
From planning to practical support.
- Community mobilisation and engagement with local leaders.
- Consultations and counselling.
- Health education on malaria prevention, hygiene/WASH, rational medicine use and NCD prevention.
- Reproductive-health education.
- Distribution of essential medicines and sanitation materials.
- Referral and care guidance.
Documented results
Figures are presented in the form supported by the project records. They should not be added together as unique beneficiaries where services may overlap.
Who was involved
Collaboration & community engagement
Implementation involved healthcare professionals, trained volunteers and community leaders. The report includes participant analysis, a financial overview, beneficiary cases, photographs and monitoring records.
What this project showed us
Learning that shapes the next project.
Gangare reinforced the importance of combining health education with practical support and of documenting who participated, what was delivered and what still needs follow-up.
Evidence & privacy
We keep useful evidence without publishing private participant data.
Project records can include reports, service data, photographs, financial summaries, approvals, beneficiary feedback and follow-up notes. Public copies are curated so names, phone numbers, signatures, raw spreadsheets and other sensitive information are not exposed.
