The need
Why the project happened.
Community assessment and stakeholder engagement identified a need for hepatitis and infectious-disease prevention, screening, vaccination-related support, reproductive-health sensitisation, broader preventive care and referral.

Who was involved
Collaboration & community engagement
Documented engagement/support included the Plateau State Ministry of Health, Plateau State Primary Health Care Board, Plateau State Hospital Management Board, Jos University Teaching Hospital, WHO Plateau State Office, Plateau State School of Nursing and Midwifery, Faith Alive Foundation, traditional/community leaders and local health workers.

Learning that shapes the next project.
Pankshin showed the value of combining community entry with institutional engagement. Larger outreach is easier to organise when trusted community structures and health-sector actors understand the plan and their roles.
Evidence & privacy
We keep useful evidence without publishing private participant data.
Project records can include reports, service data, photographs, financial summaries, approvals, beneficiary feedback and follow-up notes. Public copies are curated so names, phone numbers, signatures, raw spreadsheets and other sensitive information are not exposed.
